Hi,
ReplyDeleteI've been listening non-stop to the recording you did of 'Phantasmagoria' that appears on the 'Folk Radio UK' blog- it's unbelievably beautiful. It's one of those unusual instances of the 'cover' far surpassing the original in what the song is capable of conveying. I know that there will be a version of this on your next record...but I would love to have a copy of this one. Is there an mp3 of it available somehow, somewhere? Your music keeps growing in leaps & bounds- it's exciting to watch. All the best to you-
Steve
Hi, Thanks for listening! That song has been a favorite of ours for a very long time so it was exciting to finally record it. That is actually 'The' recording that will appear on our next full length or possibly an EP. Not sure of any release dates yet, but we'll keep you posted.
ReplyDeleteGreat! Thanks for writing back. I did actually wonder how that version of 'Phantasmagoria' on 'Folk Radio' could possibly be bettered.
ReplyDeleteSorry to gush a little more, but 'This Little Light Of Mine' and 'Shadow And The Wind' are also stellar. I love the expansive, 'atmospheric' direction the songs seem to be moving in; I was listening to both on great headphones last night and was astounded by them. Can't wait for the next record!
You have a copy of 'Shadow and the Wind'. That's great news. We've been worried that song was not getting out there..because it's on a non-Arborea comp. We eventually hope to have that on one of our records. Thanks again for listening!
ReplyDeleteCheers!
